Colours of Emotions - POSTER SERIES

Inspired by Robert Plutchik's Wheel of Emotions, I chose to focus on the eight strongest emotions represented in the wheel. I wanted to interpret these emotions through my own unique visual language, represented through the colour, shape, pattern and font.

Using the wheel as a starting point allowed me to delve deeper into the complexities of human emotions and better understand the nuances of each feeling. By taking an existing framework and transforming it into something new and original, I feel like I was able to expand upon my own understanding of emotions and connect with my audience on a deeper level.

Each poster is a unique combination of color, form, and typography, making this project a powerful exploration of the human condition. By examining the role emotions play in our lives, I aimed to provoke thought and encourage the viewer to engage with the emotions in a meaningful way.
This project was a journey of self-discovery for me, and I'm proud of what I was able to create.
It is a representation of my personal relationship with emotions and a visual expression
of the complexities of the human experience.

Using Plutchik's Wheel of Emotions as a foundation for this project demonstrates my ability to take existing theories and framework and transform them into something new and original.
It's a thoughtful examination of the human condition and an exploration of the intricacies of human emotions through my art.
Thanks for watching!
